Spaces are limited at the Garden parking lot ($7 USD per car). Additional spaces are offered at the Marcy Field parking area with a shuttle bus service ($5 USD per person).

A loop of 14.9 km for 6.5 hours. I hiked the trail via The Brothers following the blue signs. Then, came down via the red signs and then yellow.

This is the 3rd Canadian Thanksgiving in a row that I celebrated in the U.S.

Icewines made by the Wineries of the Niagara-on-the-Lake receive top recognition around the world. They are made from grapes that have naturally frozen on the vine. The solidly frozen grapes are handpicked when the thermometer lowers to -8° C. The fruits are pressed immediately to gently release a single drop of thick, rich, yellow-gold liquid, highly concentrated in natural sugars and acidity. Although the result yields a small quantity, the quality is a sumptuous and perfectly sweet wine.

In general, icewines are too sweet for me. I tasted 5 different icewines:
- Northern Ice Gewürztraminer
- Northern Ice Riesling
- Northern Ice Cabernet Sauvignon
- Northern Ice Vidal
- Northern Ice Cabernet Franc

This winery is known for their Peach Wine. This fruit wine is made from fresh local Niagara-on-the-Lake peaches. I tasted 3 different wines:
- Shiraz
- Sauvignon Blanc
- Peach Wine =)

Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights

A music, lights and images projection takes place on the city-facing side of the Oakes Hotel. The 15 minutes shows depicts Niagara's arts, culture and entertainment.

Once stepped in, I felt like I was in Las Vegas. I really wanted to taste the Grand Buffet but the waiting line was too long. Therefore, I had dinner at Canyon Creek Chophouse overlooking the Falls.

This time I stayed in a room overlooking the Falls at the Oakes Hotel. Parking has an extra cost of $20 CDN + tax / day. The maintenance service is fast.
