It took 25 years to reconstruct this historic site. It requires a minimum of 2 to 3 hours to visit the fortress.

2016 - Cape Breton, NS (II)

*It is important to gas up at Chéticamp before entering to the Highlands National Park. There is no gas station at Pleasant Bay.*

CABOT TRAIL / HIGHLANDS NATIONAL PARK

While entering to the Highlands National Park, it started to rain. I stayed 1 night at the Cabot Trail Hostel. This is not enough. It is recommended to stay at least 2 nights. I had to leave next morning at 7:30AM. The weather was foggy and rainy / cloudy.
