NORWICH 12 : UK's finest collection of individually outstanding heritage buildings spanning the Norman, medieval, Georgian, Victorian and modern eras.

1. Norwich Castle - 1067-1075.


2. Norwich Cathedral - 1096-1145.
"Founded in 1096 & built using Normandy stone shipped over from Caen, the Cathedral is set in 44 tranquil acres by the River Wensum in the heart of Norwich. It is one of the finest complete Romanesque buildings in Europe, with the highest Norman tower & largest monastic cloisters in England."


3. The Great Hospital - 1249.

5. The Guildhall - 1407-1424.


6. Dragon Hall - 1427-1430.
This international trading empire was built by a merchant named Robert Toppes.
