Lunch Time!
(Lobster Roll)
Marconi Beach
There are 6 national beaches. 1 day pass cost $20 per car. It gives access to all 6 beaches. Besides the national beaches, there are also beaches in different towns. Today is beautiful with a temperature of 36 degrees Celsius. It feels so refreshing to be in the Atlantic Ocean.
I was so lucky to watch a group of gray seals [Halichoems grypus] swimming by. Nicknamed as "horse heads" due to their long and straight slope of their profile, seals do not eat on land. They are nourished of a variety of fish, shellfish and crustaceans. Males have a dark brown, gray or black skin with small, lighter spots. They can reach 8 feet in length and weigh at least 700 pounds. Females have a tan or lighter gray skin with darker spots. They measure 6.5 feet in length and weigh up to 450 pounds. To protect these semi-aquatic animals, humans must keep a distance of at least 150 feet from the seals. If not, a fine of up to $5,000 or 6 months in jail as a penalty.

Yes, I am back after 2 years! This time, I drove and paid $42 for parking at the corner of Newbury St & Dartmouth St. If you drive, park at the Prudential Center or ask Atlantic Fish Co. for parking, the restaurant gives discount.

I can't recall when was my last time having such a delicious Pho. The soup base is actually a real soup (no MSG, I hope). Unlike most of the places, the bowl is full of food (not water).
Boston Logan International Airport
- From Chinatown/ Financial District, take I-90 E Exit 26 and follow the signs (11 min without traffic).
